Church Has Closed

After selling the church property in January of 2018, Aldersgate United Methodist Church of Chapel Hill wandered around: first, relocating to Extraordinary Ventures on Elliott Rd., then to Evergreen UMC in Chatham County, then to Massey's Chapel UMC, right over the Durham county line.

Aldersgate closed officially in June, 2019.

Aldersgate's enduring mission was to financially support the good work that worthy organizations (particularly United Methodist organizations) are doing in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and beyond. The church established several endowments and made gifts of the funds from the sale of our previous property.
